When viewed as a whole, a Woman's life is divide into 4 phases. Maiden, Mother, Enchantress and Crone
In ancient times, many of lifes events were honored by a ritual. Rituals have always allowed the community to join together in a powerful way with the Universe, and acknowledge, or ask, its blessing upon them. We have chosen the way of ceremony to bring these important times into a positive and empowered direction. We have chosen only a small selection here. If you are interested in a particular ritual o blessing, just let us know.
The Menarchy Ceremony (Maiden ~ first period): The first menstrual bleeding signals the possibility of fertility. We celebrate the onset of womanhood with a beautiful ceremony to honour her new place within the community of women. Within a sacred circle, the sisterhood of friends and relatives gather together to bless the way into womanhood. To celebrate the beginning of her moon/menstrual cycle, her inner and outer beauty and the empowerment of her Spirit, the sisterhood will present the maiden with loving gifts of wisdom and empowerment.
Blessingway (Pregnancy ~ Mother): The Blessingway Ceremony is a traditional Native American Indian ceremony that honours the transition and rite of passage that it is to become a new mother. The ceremony is conducted amongst women, offering support, love and gratitude for the miracle of birth. The pregnant mama is honoured, pampered and offered gifts that will carry her through her impending birth with grace and ease.
Menopause Ceremony (Enchantress ~ Crone): As women, we take on many roles in our lives: daughters, sisters, wives, partners and mothers, to name a few. The accumulated years and experiences bring hard earned wisdom. As we finally come into our own, we can step back and look at our life, take stock of it all and celebrate the good times and the bad times, the easy parts and the challenging parts. The Crone Ceremony aids in your transition and helps you to welcome your inner old (er) wise woman. This ceremony can be done alone or with a gathering of your closest women friends and family. We celebrate all that you have been and all that you are becoming as you move into this next stage of life. It is about embracing the aging process and welcoming the twilight years with open arms.
Your ceremony can be as simple or as elaborate as you wish. We'll work with you and your budget to create beautiful memory.
